Once Dr. Fetouh completed his dental degree and became a general dentist, he had the chance to the difference that an improved smile could have someone’s life. This inspired him to go back to school and undergo additional training so that he could become an orthodontist. He is proud to have the daily opportunity to help patients in Hurst enjoy straighter, healthier teeth. Read on to learn more about him and his history in dentistry and orthodontics.
Dr. Fetouh is originally from the United Kingdom, but he moved to Cairo, Egypt, where he studied at Cairo Dental School to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery. He then moved to the United States to pursue his Master’s in Science and well as his Master’s in Orthodontics, both of which were earned from Buffalo Dental School. He moved to Texas once his orthodontic residency was complete.
In order to earn his Master’s in Orthodontics, Dr. Fetouh completed a research project that compared the results of Invisalign treatment to that of traditional braces. His findings have been quoted under the “Scientific Studies” heading of Wikipedia’s Invisalign page. Right now, he is a proud and active member of the following dental organizations:
Dr. Fetouh lives in Texas with his wife Shelby Sutton, who works at Dallas’s Presbyterian Hospital’s ICU as a pulmonologist. They have two wonderful children named Mya and Adam. Dr. Fetouh enjoys working out when he has the chance and always loves a good round of soccer or golf.
